      Measure the resistance between each terminal when the transmission shift switch assembly is moved to each position.

      Standard Resistance

      Pull "-" continuously (Downshift)

      Below 3 Ω

      Release

      10 kΩ or higher

      Pull "-" continuously (Downshift)

      Below 3 Ω

      Release

      10 kΩ or higher

      If the resistance is not as specified, replace the transmission shift switch assembly.
