FRONT CONSOLE BOX(for Hatchback, Wagon) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

  1. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

    1. B334335

      Engage the 4 guides as shown in the illustration.

    2. for Manual Transaxle:

      1. Install the rear console box assembly with the 2 bolts and 2 screws.

    3. for CVT:

      1. Install the rear console box assembly with the 2 bolts and 4 screws.

  2. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX CARPET

    1. Install the console box carpet.

  3. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX COVER (w/o Power Outlet Socket)

    1. Install the rear console box cover.

  4. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL BOX ASSEMBLY

    1. Engage the clamp.

    2. Connect each connector.

    3. Engage the 4 clips to install the instrument panel box assembly.

  5. INSTALL UPPER CONSOLE PANEL

    1. Connect each connector.

    2. Engage the clamp.

    3. Engage the 6 clips to install the upper console panel.

  6. INSTALL UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Engage the 3 claws and 5 clips to install the upper console panel sub-assembly.

  7. INSTALL SHIFTING HOLE BEZEL (for Manual Transaxle)

      Engage the 5 clips to install the shifting hole bezel.

  8. INSTALL POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING ASSEMBLY (for CVT)

    1. Connect the connector.

    2. B407510

      Engage the 5 clips to install the position indicator housing assembly.

  9. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transaxle)

    1. B407501

      Turn the shift lever knob sub-assembly clockwise to install the shift lever knob sub-assembly.

  10. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for CVT)

    1. B407505

      Turn the shift lever knob sub-assembly clockwise to install it.

    2. B407503

      Engage the claw to connect the position indicator housing assembly as shown in the illustration.

  11. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX INSERT

      Guide <A>

      Guide <B>

      Push the front No. 2 console box insert in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) to engage the guide <B>.

    2. Push the front No. 2 console box insert in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) to engage the claw, 3 clips and guide <A> to install the front No. 2 console box insert.

  12. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 CONSOLE BOX INSERT

      Guide <B>

      Push the front No. 1 console box insert in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) to engage the guide <B>.

    2. Push the front No. 1 console box insert in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) to engage the claw, 3 clips and guide <A> to install the front No. 1 console box insert.

  13. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL
