ACCELERATOR PEDAL INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL ACCELERATOR PEDAL ASSEMBLY

   Note

   
   

   • Avoid excessive force to the accelerator pedal assembly.

   • Do not disassemble the accelerator pedal assembly.

   
   

   1. Install the accelerator pedal assembly with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:

      7.5 N*m  { 76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }

   2. Connect the accelerator pedal assembly connector.

2. INSTALL ACCELERATOR PEDAL ROD COVER (for LHD)

   
   

   1. Engage the new clip, and install the accelerator pedal rod cover.

3. INSTALL ACCELERATOR PEDAL ROD STOPPER (for LHD)

   
   

   1. Install the accelerator pedal rod stopper.

4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
