  1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSIST GRIP

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, detach the claw and open the cover.

      Remove the 2 screws and luggage compartment assist grip.

  2. REMOVE SWITCH BEZEL

      Detach the claw and remove the switch bezel.

      Using a clip remover, remove the clip.

      Detach the clip and remove the luggage compartment door cover.

      Remove the 2 nuts and disconnect the luggage compartment door lock cylinder assembly.

      Detach the clamp of the luggage door lock control cable sub-assembly.

    3. Pull out the luggage door lock control cable sub-assembly together with the luggage compartment door lock cylinder assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration.

  8. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT KEY CYLINDER PROTECTOR

      Remove the nut and luggage compartment key cylinder protector.

      Remove the luggage door lock control cable sub-assembly from the luggage compartment door lock cylinder assembly.

      Holding the strap, lift the luggage compartment floor mat in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration and remove it.

      Using a clip remover, detach the 8 clips and remove the inner lower luggage compartment trim cover.

  26. REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER (w/o Rear Air Conditioning System)

      Using a clip remover, remove the 3 clips.

      Using a clip remover, remove the 3 clips.

    3. Place your hands at the positions shown in the illustration and bend the front luggage compartment trim cover down.

    4. While bending the front luggage compartment trim cover toward the inside, pull it out in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to remove it.

      Tech Tips

      Do not bend the front luggage compartment trim cover so far that it breaks.

    1. Using a clip remover, remove the 6 clips.

      Push the lever in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration and remove the rope hook.

      Use the same procedure for the opposite side.

    3. Place your hands at the positions shown in the illustration, and while bending the rear luggage compartment trim cover toward the inside of the vehicle, pull it out to remove it.
