CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (for Intake Side)

    Click here

  2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Intake Side)

    Click here

  3. DISCONNECT HEATER HOSE (for Intake Side)

    Click here

  4. REMOVE CAM POSITION SENSOR (for Intake Side)

      Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector.

    2. A327033

      Disconnect the cam position sensor connector.

    3. A327034

      Remove the bolt and cam position sensor from the cylinder head sub-assembly.

      Note:

      If the cam position sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.

  5. REMOVE CAM POSITION SENSOR (for Exhaust Side)

    1. A327030

      Disconnect the cam position sensor connector.

    2. Remove the bolt and cam position sensor from the cylinder head sub-assembly.

      Note:

      If the cam position sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.
