PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK

CHECK PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM CANCEL SWITCH ASSEMBLY

1. Check pre-collision system cancel switch assembly (warning timing adjustment)

   

   *a	Far	*b	Medium
   *c	Near	-	-

   1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

   2. Operate the pre-collision system cancel switch to change the timing of the pre-collision system between 3 levels and check that the warning timing adjustment display on the multi-information display changes between "Far", "Medium" and "Near".

      Tip:

      • The timing setting is displayed for 6 seconds on the multi-information display.

      • "Medium" is the default setting.

2. 

   *a	PCS OFF Warning Light

   Check pre-collision system cancel switch assembly (system on/off)

   1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

   2. Press and hold the pre-collision system cancel switch assembly for 3 seconds or more and check that the PCS OFF warning light in the combination meter assembly illuminates.

      Tip:

      If the ignition switch is turned off with the pre-collision system off, the system will turn on when the ignition switch is turned to ON again.
