COMPRESSOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM


    1. for HFC-134a (R134a):

    2. for HFO-1234yf (R1234yf):

  2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  3. REMOVE GENERATOR COVER

    Click here

  4. REMOVE BELT GENERATOR COVER

    Click here

  5. REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT

    Click here

  6. DISCONNECT SUCTION HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the suction hose sub-assembly from the compressor with magnet clutch.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the suction hose sub-assembly.

      Note

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  7. DISCONNECT NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE


    1. A004HYG

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose from the compressor with magnet clutch.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose.

      Note

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  8. REMOVE COMPRESSOR WITH MAGNET CLUTCH

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. A004II3

      Remove the 3 bolts and the compressor with magnet clutch.
