DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when items controlled by the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) cannot be customized via the audio and visual system vehicle customization screen.

Tip:

The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) controls the items for the following systems that are customizable via the display screen:

  • Power door lock control system

  • Wireless door lock control system (w/ Entry and Start System)

  • Wireless door lock control system (w/o Entry and Start System)

  • Lighting system (EXT)

  1. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

    1. Use the GTS to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

  6. CHECK CUSTOMIZE ITEMS

    1. Display the "Vehicle Settings" screen.

    2. Make a note of the customizable items for each main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) related system.

      Tip:

      These items shown as customizable via the audio and visual system vehicle customization screen can also be changed using the GTS. In a following step, the GTS will be used.

      1. To match-up the items in the display screen with the items on the GTS, check the customize parameters list for the power door lock control system related items that can be customized via the display screen.

      2. To match-up the items in the display screen with the items on the GTS, check the customize parameters list for the wireless door lock control system (w/ Entry and Start System) related items that can be customized via the display screen.

    3. Using the GTS, confirm that it is possible to change the settings of the customize parameters that are available for customization via the display screen.
