EGR VALVE REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE EGR COOLER ASSEMBLY WITH EGR VALVE ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE EGR VALVE ASSEMBLY

    1. A350705

      Remove the grommet from the EGR cooler assembly.

    2. Using pliers, grasp the 4 EGR cooler hose clamps and move the 4 EGR cooler hose clamps as shown in the illustration to remove the 2 EGR cooler hoses from the EGR cooler assembly and EGR valve assembly.

      Using a T30H "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 2 bolts, EGR valve assembly and gasket.
