HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR(for Front Side) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL FRONT HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for 2WD)

   
   

   1. 

      Install the front height control sensor sub-assembly LH with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:

      8.5 N*m  { 87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not drop the front height control sensor sub-assembly LH. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.

   2. 

      Install the front height control sensor link to No. 2 front lower suspension arm LH with the bolt.

      Torque:

      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

   3. 

      Attach the clamp and connect the wire harness clamp.

   4. Connect the connector.

   5. 

      Install the sensor clamp with the bolt.

      Torque:

      8.5 N*m  { 87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf }

   6. Connect the connector.

2. INSTALL FRONT HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for AWD)

   
   

   1. 

      Install the front height control sensor sub-assembly LH with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:

      8.5 N*m  { 87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not drop the front height control sensor sub-assembly LH. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.

   2. 

      Install the front height control sensor link to the lower No. 2 suspension arm assembly LH with the nut.

      Torque:

      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

   3. 

      Connect the connector.

3. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL LH

   Click here

4. CHECK VEHICLE HEIGHT

   Note

   If the height control sensor link is removed, check the vehicle height.

   
   

   1. Change the height control switch from the "NORM" position to the "HIGH" position and back to the "NORM" position again.

   2. Measure the vehicle height.

5. ADJUST VEHICLE HEIGHT

   Click here

   Note

   If the height control sensor has been replaced, be sure to adjust the vehicle height.

6. CHECK HEIGHT CHANGE OPERATION
