FRONT DOOR OUTSIDE MOULDING REMOVAL

Tip:

  • Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

  • The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOWER OUTSIDE MOULDING SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    Tip:

    When removing the front door lower outside moulding, heat the front door panel and front door lower outside moulding using a heatlight.

    Front Door Lower Outside Moulding

    20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
    Note:

    Do not heat the front door panel and front door lower outside moulding excessively.

      Detach the 4 clips.

    2. B338454

      Remove the hole plug and nut.

      Protective Tape

      *2

      Double-side Tape

      Put protective tape around the front door lower outside moulding sub-assembly LH.

    4. Detach the 10 clips and remove the double-side tape to remove the front door lower outside moulding sub-assembly LH.
