Use the following procedure to troubleshoot the lane departure alert system.

INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE
Measure the battery voltage.
Standard Voltage
11 to 14 V
If the voltage is below 11 V, replace or recharge the battery before proceeding to the next step.

CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM*
Use the GTS to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

CHECK FOR DTCS (LANE DEPARTURE ALERT SYSTEM)*
Check for DTCs and note any codes that are output.
Chassis > PCS/LDA/RSA/LVN > Trouble Codes
Clear the DTCs.
Chassis > PCS/LDA/RSA/LVN > Clear DTCs
Recheck for DTCs. Try to reproduce the DTCs by duplicating the conditions indicated by the DTCs.
