OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR GLASS REMOVAL

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Tip:

  • Use the same procedure for both the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure described below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR

    1. Push the upper part of the outer mirror surface and tilt it.

      Protective Tape

      Apply protective tape to the lower part of the outer rear view mirror assembly with cover.

    3. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 8 claws at the lower part of the outer rear view mirror assembly with cover, and remove the outer mirror.

      Note:

      Do not pull the outer mirror with excessive force. Doing so may cause the actuator to come off or break the mirror surface.

    4. w/ Mirror Heater:

        Disconnect the 2 connectors and remove the outer mirror.
