DESCRIPTION

  • The driving support ECU assembly turns on the cruise control SET indicator by sending indicator output demand signals to the combination meter assembly via CAN communication.

  • The cruise control SET indicator illuminates when the cruise control system is controlling vehicle speed.

  • The cruise control indicator circuit uses CAN communication. If the cruise control indicator is not functioning correctly, check for CAN communication DTCs before troubleshooting this circuit.

PROCEDURE

  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS

    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Active Test.

    5. Check the cruise control SET indicator by performing the Active Test.
