PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR


    1. A004HQIE01

      Using SST, install the new fuel pressure sensor to the No. 1 fuel delivery pipe sub-assembly RH.

      09922-10010
      Torque:
      Without SST
      46 N*m  { 469 kgf*cm, 34 ft.*lbf }
      With SST
      41 N*m  { 418 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf }

      Note


      • Ensure that no oil adheres to the threads of the fuel pressure sensor and No. 1 fuel delivery pipe sub-assembly RH.

      • Do not allow foreign objects to enter when assembling the fuel pressure sensor.

      Tech Tips


      • Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 300 mm (11.8 in.). When using a torque wrench with a fulcrum length that is not 300 mm (11.8 in.), calculate the torque specification for the torque wrench and SST based on the "without SST" torque specification Click here.


      • Make sure SST and the wrench are connected in a straight line.

    2. Connect the fuel pressure sensor connector.
