After the heater assembly is turned on, the temperature of the flame sensor is 90°C (194°F) or higher for 600 seconds or more before the heater ignites.

Tip:

Before performing the following inspection procedure, attempt to restart the heater assembly. If the heater assembly is successfully started, confirm that DTC 051 is not output. If DTC 051 is not output, finish troubleshooting because it can be concluded that the system has returned to normal.
