LANE DEPARTURE ALERT SYSTEM SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

  1. LANE DEPARTURE ALERT SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

    1. When driving on roads with white (or yellow) lines, when the system determines that the vehicle may deviate from the current driving lane, it informs the driver of the potential deviation with a buzzer and a display on the combination meter assembly.

    2. The system is equipped with a last memory function, which stores the switch condition when the engine stops and allows the system to begin in that condition when the engine is started again.

  2. FUNCTION OF COMPONENTS

    Component

    Function

    Pre-collision City Sensor

    • Acquires information about the road ahead from a monocular camera and controls the lane departure alert system.

    • Sends signals to display information on the multi-information display in the combination meter, illuminates the lane departure alert indicator light and sounds the meter buzzer based on lane departure alert system control information.

    • Determines the condition of the lane departure alert switch.

    Lane Departure Alert Switch

Turn the lane departure alert system on/off.

    Combination Meter Assembly

    • Illuminates or turns off in accordance with signals from the pre-collision city sensor.

    • Displays a white lines to inform or warn the driver of the system condition in accordance with signals from the pre-collision city sensor.

    • Illuminates to warn the driver in accordance with signals from the pre-collision city sensor.

    • Sends the meter tolerance values and turn signal condition to the pre-collision city sensor.

    • Sounds to warn the driver of the system condition in accordance with signals from the pre-collision city sensor.

Brake Actuator Assembly (Skid Control ECU)

Sends the wheel speed signals to the pre-collision city sensor.

Spiral Cable Sub-assembly (Steering Angle Sensor)

Detects the steering angle and steering direction.

Airbag Sensor Assembly (Yaw Rate and Acceleration Sensor)

Detects the yaw rate and acceleration of the vehicle and transmits signals to the pre-collision city sensor.
