FUEL INJECTION PUMP REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL INJECTION PUMP DELIVERY VALVE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01SE0CN01

      Install 4 new delivery valve gaskets and the 4 injection pump delivery valve sub-assemblies to the injection pump assembly.

    2. Install the 4 delivery valve springs to the 4 injection pump delivery valve holders.

    3. Using SST, install the injection pump delivery valve holder to the injection pump assembly.

      SST
      09260-54012   ( 09269-54020 )
      Torque:
      58.9 N*m  { 601 kgf*cm, 43 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL DISTRIBUTIVE HEAD PLUG


    1. Install a new O-ring to the distributive head plug.

    2. A01SCZKN01

      Using SST, install the distributive head plug to the injection pump assembly.

      Torque:
      88.3 N*m  { 900 kgf*cm, 65 ft.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL TIMING CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY


    1. Using a 5 mm hexagon wrench, install the timing control valve to the injection pump assembly with the 2 bolts.

  4. INSTALL WIRING HARNESS BRACKET


    1. Install the wiring harness bracket with the bolt to the injection pump assembly.

      Torque:
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

  5. INSTALL FUEL FILTER TO INJECTION PUMP FUEL PIPE


    1. A01SAP9

      Install a new air bleeder nipple washer and the screw to the injection pump assembly.

      Torque:
      36.8 N*m  { 375 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

    2. Install 2 new air bleeder nipple washers and the fuel filter to injection pump fuel pipe to the injection pump assembly with the cap nut.

      Torque:
      26.6 N*m  { 271 kgf*cm, 20 ft.*lbf }

  6. INSTALL NO. 4 NOZZLE LEAKAGE PIPE


    1. Install 2 new air bleeder nipple washers and the No. 4 nozzle leakage pipe to the injection pump assembly with the overflow screw sub-assembly.

      Torque:
      26.6 N*m  { 271 kgf*cm, 20 ft.*lbf }
