AIR CONDITIONING PANEL(for Automatic Air Conditioning System) REMOVAL
PROCEDURE
REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (except Sedan)
REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (except Sedan)
REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (except Sedan)
REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD RETAINER WITH AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY (except Sedan)

Disengage the 2 claws and 4 clips.
Disconnect the connector to remove the center instrument panel safety pad retainer with air conditioning control assembly.

REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY (except Sedan)

Remove the 4 screws.
Disengage the 3 guides to remove the air conditioning control assembly.

PRECAUTION (for Sedan)
Note:After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (for Sedan)
for LHD with Entry and Start System:
Note:When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Sedan)
for Manual Transaxle:
REMOVE SHIFTING HOLE BEZEL (for Sedan)
REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Sedan)
REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL (for Sedan)
REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Sedan)
REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Sedan)
REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Sedan)
REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Sedan)
REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY (for Sedan)
REMOVE NO. 1 SWITCH HOLE BASE (for Sedan)
REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY (for Sedan)

Disengage the 2 claws and 5 clips.
Disconnect the connector to remove the air conditioning control assembly.
