DESCRIPTION
The rotation angle sensor detects the motor rotation angle and sends this information to the power steering ECU.

If the power steering ECU assembly is replaced, perform the assist map writing (Click here).
PROCEDURE
READ VALUE USING GTS (MOTOR ROTATION ANGLE)
Turn the ignition switch off.
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Start the engine.
Turn the GTS on.
Enter the following menus: Chassis / EMPS / Data List.

Check the connection condition of the z17 rotation angle sensor connector.

Rotation angle sensor connector is securely connected to the power steering ECU.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
