FRONT STABILIZER BAR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER BAR BUSHING LH

   1. 

      *a	Stopper Ring
      	Front of the Vehicle
      	Outside of the Vehicle

      Install the front stabilizer bar bushing LH to the front stabilizer bar.

      Note:

      • Install the front stabilizer bar bushing LH onto the front stabilizer bar so that the stopper ring of the front stabilizer bar faces the outside of the vehicle.

      • Install the front stabilizer bar bushing LH with its cutout facing the front of the vehicle.

2. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER BAR BUSHING RH

   Tip:

   Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

3. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET LH

   1. 

      *a	Elongated Hole
      	Front of the Vehicle
      	Outside of the Vehicle

      Install the front No. 1 stabilizer bracket LH to the front stabilizer bar bushing LH as shown in the illustration.

      Note:

      Make sure to install the front No. 1 stabilizer bracket LH with its elongated hole facing the front of the vehicle.

4. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET RH

   Tip:

   Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

5. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER BAR

   1. 

      Front of the Vehicle

      Install the front stabilizer bar with 2 front stabilizer bar bushings and 2 front No. 1 stabilizer brackets to the front suspension crossmember sub-assembly with the 4 bolts.

      35 N*m

      357 kgf*cm

      26 ft.*lbf

      Note:

      Temporarily tighten the 2 bolts (A) and then fully tighten the 4 bolts in the order of (B) and (A).
