  2. CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS

    1. Interview the customer to confirm the problem.

      Tip:

      It is important to collect as much specific information as possible from the customer to allow for a quick repair.

  3. CHECK TIRE PRESSURE WARNING LIGHT CONDITION

    1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    2. Check the pattern of the tire pressure warning light in the combination meter assembly.

    Tire pressure warning light blinks at 0.5 second intervals, and illuminates after 1 minute

  4. CHECK TIRE SIZE

    1. Check if a different sized tire is being used.

      Note:

      If the specified size of tire is not used on all 4 wheels, this system will not operate correctly.

  5. ADJUST TIRE PRESSURE

    1. Set all tire pressures to the specified value.

      Make sure the tires are cool when adjusting the tire pressure.

  6. CONFIRMATION TEST

    1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    2. Check that the tire pressure warning light illuminates for 3 or 4 seconds.

      Tip:
      • During initialization: Illuminates for 4 seconds

      • After initialization: Illuminates for 3 seconds

    3. Perform initialization.

    4. Confirm that the initialization has been completed.

    5. Check that the tire pressure warning light goes off.
