REAR NO. 1 SEAT ASSEMBLY(for 60/40 Split Slide Walk-in Seat Type LH Side) INSTALLATION

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY LH

   

   1. Place the seat in the cabin.

      Note:

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

      Tip:

      Be sure to install the seat with the seatback folded down.

   2. Connect the center inner belt to the seat.

   3. Temporarily install the seat with the 5 bolts and nut.

   4. Tighten the bolts and nut in the order indicated in the illustration.

      37 N*m

      377 kgf*cm

      27 ft.*lbf

   5. Connect the side airbag connector.

   6. w/ Seat Heater System:

      Connect the seat heater connector.

2. INSTALL SEAT TRACK COVER LH

   

   1. Attach the 3 clips to install the cover.

3. INSTALL SEAT TRACK INNER BRACKET COVER LH

   

   1. Attach the 6 clips to install the cover.

4. INSTALL REAR SEAT OUTER TRACK BRACKET COVER

   

   1. Move the cover in the direction of the arrow to attach the 2 guides.

   2. Attach the 2 claws to install the cover.

5. INSTALL REAR SEAT TRACK INNER BRACKET COVER

   

   1. Attach the 2 claws and guide to install the cover.

6. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

   1. Install the headrest.

7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

   Note:

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Click hereClick hereClick hereClick here).

8. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT

   1. Check the SRS warning light (Click here).

9. INSPECT REAR NO. 1 SEAT ASSEMBLY

   1. w/ Seat Heater System:

      Check the seat heater operation.

      1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

      2. Turn the seat heater switch on.

      3. Wait 5 minutes or more and confirm that the seat surface becomes warm.
