NITROGEN OXIDES SENSOR REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR

      Remove the 3 bolts and No. 1 front floor heat insulator.

  2. REMOVE NITROGEN OXIDES SENSOR

    CAUTION:

    To prevent burns, do not touch the engine, exhaust manifold or other high temperature components while the engine is hot.

      Remove the 2 nuts, detach the connector and clamp, and then disconnect the harness and controller portion.

      Using SST, remove the nitrogen oxides sensor.

  3. REMOVE SENSOR BRACKET

    1. Remove the 2 nuts, bolt and 2 sensor brackets.
