  1. CONDITIONS FOR MOMENTARY STOP

      When control is stopped momentarily, "LANE DEPARTURE ALERT UNAVAILABLE CAMERA OVERHEATED" is displayed in the combination meter sub-assembly, the lane departure alert indicator turns off and a "pong" sound is heard. This occurs under the following condition:


      • A high lane departure warning camera temperature is detected.

    Tech Tips

    When the system recovers and the condition to stop lane departure alert control is not met, the lane departure alert system operates again.

  2. STOP DUE TO SYSTEM MALFUNCTION

      When a system malfunction is detected, the lane departure alert indicator turns off, "LANE DEPARTURE ALERT MALFUNCTION VISIT YOUR DEALER" is displayed in the combination meter sub-assembly and a "pong" sound is heard.

      Tech Tips

      After the power switch is turned off then back on (IG), the lane departure alert system operates again if the system is confirmed to be normal when the lane departure alert main switch (integration control and panel assembly) is turned on.
