OIL COOLER REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER

    Click here

  3. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT

    Click here

  4. DISCONNECT TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER HOSE


    1. A004HZK

      Loosen the 2 hose clamps and disconnect the 2 oil cooler hoses from the transmission oil cooler.

      Note

      Use a container to catch any coolant which flows out of the oil cooler hoses.

  5. DISCONNECT WATER BY-PASS HOSE


    1. A004KYD

      Loosen the 2 hose clamps and disconnect the 2 water by-pass hoses.

      Note

      Use a container to catch any coolant which flows out of the water by-pass hoses.

  6. REMOVE TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY


    1. A004IHZ

      Remove the 3 bolts and the transmission oil cooler.

    2. A004HYK

      Loosen the 2 hose clamps and remove the 2 oil cooler hoses from the transmission oil cooler.

    3. Remove the clip from the oil cooler hoses.

    4. A004KXL

      Remove the 2 bolts and the transmission oil cooler from the transmission oil cooler bracket.
