UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL END

      Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the instrument cluster finish panel end.

  3. REMOVE COOLER (SOLAR SENSOR) THERMISTOR (for Automatic Air Conditioning System)

  4. REMOVE AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL SENSOR (w/ Automatic Light Control System)

  5. REMOVE DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 screws <B> and 2 clips.

    2. Disengage the 3 clamps and remove the defroster nozzle assembly.

  6. REMOVE TELLTALE LIGHT ASSEMBLY

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE

      Disengage the 4 clamps and remove the No. 2 instrument panel wire.

  8. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION

    1. Remove the No. 1 instrument panel cushion.
