  1. CONSTRUCTION


    1. The airbag sensor assembly incorporates the yawrate sensor and acceleration sensor.

    2. The airbag sensor assembly detects deceleration in the horizontal plane using the signals from the yawrate sensor and acceleration sensor and transmits signals to the skid control ECU.

      After replacing the yaw rate sensor, or the skid control ECU, initialization of the yaw rate sensor is required. For the actual procedure, refer to the Repair Manual.
