OIL COOLER INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Install the transmission oil cooler to the transmission oil cooler bracket with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:

      23 N*m  { 235 kgf*cm, 17 ft.*lbf }

   2. Connect the 2 new oil cooler hoses to the transmission oil cooler with the 2 hose clamps.

   3. Install the transmission oil cooler with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:

      23 N*m  { 235 kgf*cm, 17 ft.*lbf }

2. CONNECT WATER BY-PASS HOSE

   
   

   1. Connect the 2 water by-pass hoses to the transmission oil cooler with the 2 hose clamps.

3. CONNECT TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER HOSE

   
   

   1. Connect the 2 oil cooler hoses with the 2 hose clamps.

      Install the clip as shown in the illustration.

4. ADD ENGINE COOLANT

5. ADD AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID

6. INSPECT FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAK

7. INSPECT FOR AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID LEAK

8. INSTALL NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER

   Click here

9. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER
