FAIL-SAFE CHART
When a malfunction occurs in the system, the DRS ECU (rear steering control ECU) performs the following fail-safe functions.

| C1B03 | Actuator Angle Neutral Malfunction | Control is not started. |
| C1B04 | Motor Rotation Angle Sensor Calibration Undone | Control is not started. |
| C1B05 | Motor Rotation Angle Sensor Calibration Malfunction | Control is not started. |
| C1B11 | Short in Motor Circuit | Control is not started or stops. |
| C1B12 | Open in Motor Circuit | Control is not started or stops. |
| C1B13 | Motor Rotation Angle Not Detected | Control is not started or stops. |
| C1B14 | Stroke Sensor Circuit | Returns the rear turning angle to the neutral position. |
| C1B15 | Motor Rotation Angle Malfunction | Control is not started or stops. |
| C1B17 | Motor Rotation Angle Mismatch (Stroke Sensor) | Control is not started or stops. |

| C1B21 | ECU Malfunction (CPU) | Control is not started or stops. |

| U0100 | Lost Communication with ECM/PCM "A" | Control is not started. |
| U0129 | Lost Communication with Brake System Control Module | Returns the rear turning angle to the neutral position. |
| U0130 | Lost Communication with Steering Effort Control Module | Returns the rear turning angle to the neutral position. |
| U1103 | Lost Communication with Stop and Start Control Module | Returns the rear turning angle to the neutral position. |
