    1. 2 air fuel ratio sensors are used on this engine. One air fuel ratio sensor is located before the NOx Storage Reduction (NSR) catalyst and the other is located after the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) catalyst. The air fuel ratio sensor detects the oxygen concentration in the exhaust gas.
