CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY(for Front Side) REMOVAL

  • In order to prevent the battery from becoming fully depleted, connect the battery charger to the battery when turning the engine switch on (IG) to charge the battery.

  • Keep the power supply connected to prevent the GTS battery from becoming fully depleted.

PROCEDURE


  1. AIR SUSPENSION CONTROL PROHIBITED

    Tech Tips

    Check each part and system if an error is displayed for air movement pattern B.


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3 with the engine switch off.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on and enter the following menus: Chassis / Air suspension / Utility / Air Transfer Pattern B.


      Chassis > Air suspension > Utility
      Tester Display
      Air Transfer Pattern B

    4. Perform vehicle height control prohibition and air movement according to the instructions on the GTS.

  2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 HEIGHT CONTROL VALVE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Detach the clamp.

      *1 No. 3 Height Control Tube
      *2 No. 4 Height Control Tube
      *3 No. 8 Height Control Tube

      Using SST, disconnect the No. 3 height control tube.

    4. Using SST, disconnect the No. 4 height control tube.

    5. Using SST, disconnect the No. 8 height control tube.

      Remove the 2 nuts and No. 1 height control valve sub-assembly.

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 HEIGHT CONTROL VALVE BUSH

      *1 No. 1 Height Control Valve Bush

      Remove the 2 No. 1 height control valve bushes from the No. 1 height control valve sub-assembly.

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 HEIGHT CONTROL VALVE CUSHION

      Remove the 2 No. 1 height control valve cushions from the No. 1 height control valve sub-assembly.

  6. REMOVE HEIGHT CONTROL VALVE BRACKET

      Remove the 2 nuts and height control valve bracket.
