FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY(for Dual Type) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

  1. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE

      Connector Lock

      Connect the 3 airbag connectors to the instrument panel passenger without door airbag assembly.

      Note:

      When connecting any airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

    2. Push in the 3 connector locks to install the 3 airbag connectors.

    3. Attach the connector clamp to install the No. 2 instrument panel wire to the instrument panel passenger without door airbag assembly.

  2. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL PASSENGER WITHOUT DOOR AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

    1. Attach the 3 rear hooks of the instrument panel passenger without door airbag assembly to the rear of the airbag door.

    2. Push in the instrument panel passenger without door airbag assembly to attach the 3 front hooks to the front of the airbag door.

    3. Install the instrument panel passenger without door airbag assembly with the 2 screws.

  3. INSTALL UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

  4. CONNECT CABLE TO AUXILIARY BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL

    Note:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  5. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE COVER

  6. INSTALL DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY

  7. PERFORM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK

  8. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
