MANUAL TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE ENGINE ASSEMBLY WITH TRANSAXLE


    1. Remove the engine assembly with transaxle Click here.

  2. REMOVE REAR ENGINE MOUNTING INSULATOR

    Click here

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR TUBE

    Click here

  4. REMOVE STARTER ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  5. REMOVE AIR TUBE SUPPORT

      Remove the 2 bolts and air tube support.

  6. REMOVE ENGINE WIRE

    1. Disconnect the back-up light switch connector and neutral position switch connector, remove the 2 bolts, detach the 3 clamps and remove the engine wire from the manual transaxle.

  7. REMOVE OIL PAN INSULATOR

      Remove the 2 bolts and oil pan insulator.

  8. REMOVE STIFFENER PLATE LH


    1. A004NZQ

      Remove the 4 bolts and stiffener plate LH.

  9. REMOVE STIFFENER PLATE RH


    1. A004NIR

      Remove the 4 bolts and stiffener plate RH.

  10. REMOVE MANUAL TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY


    1. A004PJV

      Remove the 5 bolts and manual transaxle assembly from the engine.

  11. REMOVE ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET LH

      Remove the 4 bolts and engine mounting bracket LH.

  12. REMOVE FRONT ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET


    1. A004OCT

      Remove the 3 bolts and front engine mounting bracket.

  13. REMOVE REAR ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET

      Remove the 5 bolts and rear engine mounting bracket.
