RADIO ANTENNA CORD(for Instrument Panel Side) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY

  2. PRECAUTION

    Note:

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  4. REMOVE UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL

  5. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

    1. w/ Navigation System or w/ Digital Audio Broadcasting:

      1. Detach the 6 clamps and remove the antenna cord sub-assembly.

    2. w/o Navigation System:

      1. Detach the 4 clamps and remove the antenna cord sub-assembly.

    3. Disconnect each connector.

    4. Detach the claw.

  6. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

    1. Detach the 4 clamps and remove the antenna cord sub-assembly.

    2. Disconnect each connector.

    3. Detach the claw.
