FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

  1. INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER ASSEMBLY

    1. A196015C02

      *1

      New O-Ring

      Apply a light coat of gasoline or spindle oil to a new O-ring, and then install the O-ring to the fuel pressure pulsation damper assembly.

    2. Install the fuel pressure pulsation damper assembly with the 2 bolts.

      10 N*m

      102 kgf*cm

      7 ft.*lbf

      Note:

      Make sure that the O-ring is not cracked or jammed when installing the fuel pressure pulsation damper assembly.

  2. CONNECT FUEL TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  3. INSTALL FUEL HOSE BRACKET

  4. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  7. INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK
