When the front bumper is damaged or deformed due to an accident or contact with other objects, etc., or the bumper installation area on the body is repaired, it is necessary to perform millimeter wave radar sensor adjustment.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL ENGINE HOOD COURTESY SWITCH (HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY)


    1. for LHD :


      1. Apply MP grease to the sliding parts of the engine hood courtesy switch (hood lock assembly).

      2. B006GDX

        Connect the hood lock control cable assembly and hood lock control assembly to the engine hood courtesy switch (hood lock assembly).

      3. B006D56C01

        Install the engine hood courtesy switch (hood lock assembly) with the 3 bolts.

        Torque:
        8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

      4. Connect the connector.

    2. for RHD :


      1. Apply MP grease to the sliding parts of the engine hood courtesy switch (hood lock assembly).

      2. B006GAO

        Connect the hood lock control cable assembly and hood lock control assembly to the engine hood courtesy switch (hood lock assembly).

      3. B006FEMC01
        B006AHR Bolt
        B006EC9 Connector

        Install the engine hood courtesy switch (hood lock assembly) with the 3 bolts.

        Torque:
        8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

      4. Connect the connector.

  2. INSTALL HOOD LOCK RELEASE LEVER PROTECTOR


    1. B006FAD

      Attach the clamp and temporary install the hood lock release lever protector.

    2. Install the 2 clips.

  3. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY

  4. INSPECT FITTING OF HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. ADJUST HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  6. ADJUST FRONT TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY (w/ Panoramic View Monitor System)

    Click here

  7. PERFORM CALIBRATION
