PROCEDURE

  1. INSTALL REAR SEAT TRACK ADJUSTING HANDLE LH

    1. Install the rear seat track adjusting handle LH.

  2. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Install the rear seat cushion frame sub-assembly LH with the 6 nuts.

      Rear No. 1 Seat Inner Belt Assembly LH Installation Bolt

      Temporarily install the rear seatback frame sub-assembly LH with the 2 bolts and 2 "TORX" bolts.

    3. Install the bolt to the bolt hole for the rear No. 1 seat inner belt assembly LH.

    4. Using a T45 "TORX" socket wrench, tighten the 2 "TORX" bolts.

    5. Tighten the 2 bolts.

    6. Remove the bolt from the bolt hole for the rear No. 1 seat inner belt assembly LH.

  3. INSTALL REAR SEAT WIRE LH (w/ Seat Heater System)

    1. Attach the clamp to install the rear seat wire LH to the rear seat cushion frame sub-assembly LH.

    2. Attach the claw to connect the rear seat wire connector to the rear seat upper track rail sub-assembly LH.

  4. INSTALL SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)

  5. INSTALL REAR BACK LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Install the rear back lock control lever sub-assembly LH with the 2 nuts.

  6. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SEAT RECLINING CONTROL CABLE

    1. Install the rear No. 2 seat reclining control cable to the rear seat frame.

    2. Attach the 3 cable clamps and connect the rear No. 2 seat reclining control cable.

  7. INSTALL REAR SEAT RECLINING CONTROL CABLE

    1. Install the rear seat reclining control cable to the rear seat frame.

    2. Attach the 3 cable clamps and connect the rear seat reclining control cable.

    3. Install 4 new cable ties.

  8. INSTALL NO. 1 SEAT 3 POINT TYPE BELT ASSEMBLY LH

  9. INSTALL REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE

    1. Attach the guide and claw to install the rear seat shoulder belt guide.

  10. INSTALL REAR SEAT RECLINING COVER INNER LH

    1. Attach the guide and claw to install the rear seat reclining cover inner LH.

  11. INSTALL CAP

    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the cap.

  12. INSTALL REAR SEAT REAR CUSHION MOULDING LH

    1. Move the rear seat rear cushion moulding LH in the direction of the arrow to attach the guide.

    2. Attach the 4 claws and clip to install the rear seat rear cushion moulding LH.

  13. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

    2. Install the 2 screws.

  14. INSTALL REAR SEAT INNER RECLINING COVER LH

    1. Attach the guide and install the rear seat inner reclining cover LH with the 2 screws.

  15. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK EDGE PROTECTOR

      Install the rear seatback edge protector to the rear seatback frame sub-assembly LH.

  16. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)

  17. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER

      Hog Ring Pliers

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type rear seatback cover to the separate type rear seatback pad with new hog rings.

      Note:

      • Be careful not to damage the separate type rear seatback cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the separate type rear seatback cover.

      Using a tacker, install new tack pins as shown in the illustration.

      Connect the separate type rear seatback cover bracket to the seatback pad.

      w/ Seat Heater System:

      Connect the rear seatback heater assembly wire harness to the separate type rear seatback pad.

  18. INSTALL SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

    1. Temporarily install the seatback cover with pad to the rear seatback frame sub-assembly LH.

    2. w/ Seat Heater System:

        Install the rear seatback heater assembly wire harness as shown in the illustration.

      2. B290761

        Install the rear seatback heater assembly wire harness by passing it through the hole in the separate type rear seatback cover with pad.

      3. B290765

        Attach the rear seatback heater assembly wire harness clamp.

      Install the rear seat airbag wire harness by passing it through the hole in the separate type rear seat back cover with pad.

      Attach the 2 rear seat airbag wire harness clamps to connect the rear seat airbag wire harness to the seat rear seat cushion frame sub-assembly LH.

    5. Attach the claw to connect the rear seat airbag connector to the rear seat upper track rail sub-assembly LH.

    6. Install a new cable tie.

      Connect the No. 1 seat 3 point type belt assembly LH to the seatback cover with pad.

    9. Using hog ring pliers, install the seatback cover with pad with new hog rings and attach the fastening tape.

    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the 2 rear No. 1 seat headrest support assemblies.

  20. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK BOARD CARPET ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Attach the 7 clips to install the rear seatback board carpet assembly LH.

  21. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK COVER

    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the rear seatback cover.

  22. INSTALL REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT COVER

    1. Connect the No. 1 seat 3 point type belt assembly LH to the rear seat shoulder belt cover.

  23. INSTALL SEAT BELT ANCHOR COVER CAP

  27. INSTALL CENTER NO. 2 SEATBACK COVER

    1. Install the center No. 2 seatback cover with the 3 screws.

    1. Attach the guide and 3 claws to install the rear seatback stay cover RH.

  42. INSTALL REAR SEAT RECLINING BRACKET LH

    1. Using a T45 "TORX" socket wrench, install the rear seat reclining bracket LH and bush with the "TORX" bolt.
