DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when items controlled by the main body ECU (instrument panel junction block assembly) cannot be customized via the navigation system vehicle customization screen.

Tip:

  • The main body ECU (instrument panel junction block assembly) controls the items for the following systems that are customizable via the radio and display receiver assembly screen:

  • Power door lock control system

  • Wireless door lock control system (w/ Entry and Start System)

  • Wireless door lock control system (w/o Entry and Start System)

  • Lighting system (INT)

  • Lighting system (EXT)

Note:

Check that the wire harness is properly installed and does not have any sharp bends, pinching or loose connections (Click here).

PROCEDURE

  1. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

    1. Use the GTS to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally (Click here).

      OK

      CAN communication DTCs are not output.

    GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

  2. CHECK POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM

    1. Check if the power door lock control system is malfunctioning (Click here).

      Tip:

      Customization may not be possible depending on the malfunction in the power door lock control system.

      OK

      No malfunctions are present in the power door lock control system.

    GO TO POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM

  3. CHECK LIGHTING SYSTEM (INT)

    1. Check if the lighting system (INT) is malfunctioning (Click here).

      Tip:

      Customization may not be possible depending on the malfunction in the lighting system (INT).

      OK

      No malfunctions are present in the lighting system (INT).

  4. CHECK LIGHTING SYSTEM (EXT)

    1. Check if the lighting system (EXT) is malfunctioning (Click here).

      Tip:

      Customization may not be possible depending on the malfunction in the lighting system (EXT).

      OK

      No malfunctions are present in the lighting system (EXT).

  5. CHECK WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM (w/ Entry and Start System)

    1. Check if the wireless door lock control system (w/ Entry and Start System) is malfunctioning (Click here).

      Customization may not be possible depending on the malfunction in the wireless door lock control system (w/ Entry and Start System).

      OK

      No malfunctions are present in the wireless door lock control system (w/ Entry and Start System).

  6. CHECK CUSTOMIZE ITEMS

    1. Display the "Vehicle Customization" screen.

    2. Make a note of the customizable items for each main body ECU (instrument panel junction block assembly) related system.

      Tip:

      These items shown as customizable via the radio and display receiver assembly vehicle customization screen can also be changed using the GTS. In a following step, the GTS will be used.

      1. To match-up the items in the radio and display receiver assembly with the items on the GTS, check the customize parameters list for the power door lock control system related items that can be customized via the radio and display receiver assembly screen (Click here).

      2. To match-up the items in the radio and display receiver assembly with the items on the GTS, check the customize parameters list for the wireless door lock control system (w/ Entry and Start System) related items that can be customized via the radio and display receiver assembly screen (Click here).

      3. To match-up the items in the radio and display receiver assembly with the items on the GTS, check the customize parameters list for the lighting system (INT) related items that can be customized via the radio and display receiver assembly screen (Click here).

      4. To match-up the items in the radio and display receiver assembly with the items on the GTS, check the customize parameters list for the lighting system (EXT) related items that can be customized via the radio and display receiver assembly screen (Click here).

    3. Using the GTS, confirm that it is possible to change the settings of the customize parameters that are available for customization via the radio and display receiver assembly screen.

      OK

      The items available for customization via the radio and display receiver assembly screen can be customized successfully using the GTS.
