HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. PRECAUTION

    Note:

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  3. REMOVE REAR HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Double Wishbone Type Suspension)

    1. E260163

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the clamp.

    3. Remove the 2 bolts and rear height control sensor sub-assembly.

      Note:

      Do not drop the rear height control sensor sub-assembly. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.

  4. REMOVE REAR HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Torsion Beam Type Suspension)

    1. E260162

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 3 bolts.

    3. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the rear height control sensor sub-assembly.

      Note:

      Do not drop the rear height control sensor sub-assembly.If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.
