PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Click here


      Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs

    2. Turn the engine switch off.

    3. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

      Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes
      OK
      No DTCs are output.

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY ASSEMBLY - PARKING ASSIST ECU)

      Disconnect the I173 multi-display assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the P48 radio receiver assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      P48-1 (GVO+) - I173-1 (GVI+) Always Below 1 Ω
      P48-2 (GVO-) - I173-2 (GVI-) Always Below 1 Ω
      P48-3 (GVG1) - I173-3 (GVG1) Always Below 1 Ω
      P48-1 (GVO+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      P48-2 (GVO-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      P48-3 (GVG1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

  3. CHECK MULTI-DISPLAY ASSEMBLY


    1. Replace the multi-display assembly with a new or known good one.

    2. Clear the DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs

    3. Turn the engine switch off.

    4. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.
