NOISE FILTER(for Wagon) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Deck Board)

  2. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY (w/ Deck Board)

  3. REMOVE FRONT DECK FLOOR BOX (w/ Deck Board)

  4. REMOVE REAR FLOOR MAT ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE NO. 3 DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Deck Board)

  6. REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX LH (w/o Woofer)

  7. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY

  8. REMOVE ROOM PARTITION NET ASSEMBLY (w/ Partition Net)

  9. REMOVE REAR DECK TRIM COVER

  10. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY

  11. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

  12. DISCONNECT REAR NO. 1 SEAT LOCK CABLE ASSEMBLY

  13. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH

  14. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

  15. DISCONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH

  16. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  17. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH LH

  18. REMOVE NO. 2 DECK SIDE TRIM HOOK

  19. REMOVE RECLINING REMOTE CONTROL BEZEL LH

  20. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH

  21. REMOVE RADIO SETTING CONDENSER

    Note:

    When the terminal covers are removed, the radio setting condenser must be replaced because the terminal covers and condenser are supplied as a set.

    1. E275079

      Remove the bolt.

    2. Disengage the clamp and disconnect the radio setting condenser with wire harness from the vehicle body.

    3. E226094

      Disengage the claw and pull out the cover as shown in the illustration.

    4. E232601

      Using a screwdriver, disengage the 6 claws and remove the 2 terminal covers with wire harness from the condenser.

    5. E223708

      Using a screwdriver, bend back and break off the claw as shown in the illustration.

    6. Remove the terminal cover from the wire harness.

      Note:
      • Make sure to hold the crimping side of the terminal when disconnecting the wire harness from the terminal cover.

      • Make sure not to bend the exposed wire when disconnecting the wire harness from the terminal cover.

      • Check for deformation of the terminal after the wire harness has been removed from the terminal cover.
