DESCRIPTION

This DTC indicates the presence of internal abnormalities in the ECM.

Either condition is met:

  • The cruise control input signal is abnormal.

  • The ECM internal cancel circuit is malfunctioning.

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Tip:

The ECM receives signals from each sensor to control all functions of the cruise control system. When a trouble code is detected, the fail-safe function remains on until the ignition switch is turned off.

PROCEDURE

  1. CHECK FOR DTC

    1. Clear the DTCs (Click here).

    2. Make sure that the vehicle conditions when the DTC was stored are met.

      Tip:

      If the following detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect malfunctions.

      • Cruise control main switch (ON-OFF switch) on

      • Cruise control is set

    3. Check for DTCs (Click here).

      OK

      DTCs P0575 and P1607 are not output.

    If the cruise control main switch (ON-OFF switch) is on, the DTC will be output even with the vehicle stopped.
