PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM


    1. Check if CAN communication system DTCs are output.

      Tech Tips

      When DTCs indicating a CAN communication system malfunction are output, repair the CAN communication system before repairing each corresponding sensor.

  2. INSPECT AWD WARNING LIGHT


    1. Disconnect the M77 4WD ECU assembly connector.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    3. Check that the AWD warning message is displayed.

      The AWD warning message is displayed.
