PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL NO. 2 CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT COVER


    1. A01ODPR

      Engage the guide to install the No. 2 child restraint seat cover.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the other 3 No. 2 child restraint seat covers.

  2. INSTALL SEAT COVER WIRE (for RH Side)


    1. A01OB81N01

      Install the 5 seat cover wires.

      Length
      Area Measurement
      A 360 mm (1.18 ft.)
      B 310 mm (1.02 ft.)
      C 310 mm (1.02 ft.)
      D 310 mm (1.02 ft.)
      E 100 mm (3.94 in.)

      Tech Tips


      • 1000 mm (3.28 ft.) pieces of wire are available as a supply part.

      • When replacing a seat cover wire, cut and shape the 1000 mm (3.28 ft.) piece of wire to the specified length.

      • Make sure to read Precaution before preparing the wire.

  3. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER RH


    1. Temporarily install the separate type rear seat cushion cover RH to the separate type rear seat cushion pad.

    2. Using hog ring pliers, install 15 new hog rings in the order indicated in the illustration.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type rear seat cushion cover RH.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type rear seat cushion cover RH.

    3. Engage the 3 hooks.

    4. Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type rear seat cushion cover RH to the separate type rear seat cushion pad with 20 new hog rings in the order indicated in the illustration.

      • Be careful not to damage the separate type rear seat cushion cover RH.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type rear seat cushion cover RH.

  4. INSTALL SEAT COVER WIRE (for LH Side)

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

  5. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER LH

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

  6. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION UNDER COVER


    1. Engage the 3 hooks.

    2. Using hog ring pliers, install the rear seat cushion under cover with 4 new hog rings.

  7. INSTALL REAR SEAT UNDER TRAY SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Engage the 2 guides and 2 claws to install the rear seat under tray sub-assembly.

  8. INSTALL NO. 1 CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT COVER

      Engage the 4 claws to install the No. 1 child restraint seat cover.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the other 3 No. 1 child restraint seat covers.

  9. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side)

      B008GGT Bolt

      Engage the guide.

    2. Install the rear seatback lock sub-assembly RH to the rear seatback frame sub-assembly RH with the 2 bolts and 2 screws.

      Torque:
      Bolt
      21 N*m  { 214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

  10. INSTALL REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side)

      Engage the 4 guides.

    2. Install the rear seat lock control lever sub-assembly RH with the screw.

      Engage the lock clip as shown in the illustration.

  11. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK STRIKER PROTECTOR (for RH Side)


    1. A01OCZX

      Engage the guide and install the rear seatback lock striker protector with the 3 screws.

  12. INSTALL SEAT COVER WIRE (for RH Side)

      Install the 2 seat cover wires.

      A 310 mm (1.02 ft.)

      • 1000 mm (3.28 ft.) pieces of wire are available as a supply part.

    • Align the seam allowance in a single direction as shown in the illustration.

    1. Temporarily install the separate type rear seatback cover RH to the separate type rear seatback pad.

    2. A01OC5WE02

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type rear seatback cover RH to the separate type rear seatback pad with 7 new hog rings in the order indicated in the illustration.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type rear seatback cover RH.


      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type rear seatback cover RH.

  14. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD (for RH Side)

      Install the separate type rear seatback cover with pad as indicated by the arrows, in the order shown in the illustration.

    2. A01OCC8

      Engage the 4 claws to install the 2 rear seat headrest supports.

  15. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side)

      Engage the 7 claws to install the rear seatback board sub-assembly RH.

    2. A01OCD8

      Engage the 23 claws of the separate type rear seatback cover RH to the rear seatback board sub-assembly RH.

  16. INSTALL REAR UPPER SEATBACK LOCK BEZEL (for RH Side)


    1. A01OB0V

      Engage the 5 claws to install the rear upper seatback lock bezel.

  17. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK COVER RH (for RH Side)

      Engage the 2 guides.

    2. Engage the 2 claws to install the rear seatback lock cover RH.

  18. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK CONTROL BEZEL (for RH Side)

      Engage the 2 claws to install the rear seatback lock control bezel.

  19. INSTALL REAR SEAT HINGE COVER RH (for RH Side)

      Engage the 2 guides to install the rear seat hinge cover RH to the rear seat hinge sub-assembly RH.

    2. A01OC4V

      Tighten the bolt to install the rear seat hinge cover RH with the rear seat hinge sub-assembly RH to the separate type rear seatback cover with pad.

      Torque:
      18.1 N*m  { 185 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

  20. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side)

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

  21. INSTALL REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side)

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

  22. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK STRIKER PROTECTOR (for LH Side)

  23. INSTALL SEAT COVER WIRE (for LH Side)

      Engage the 4 claws to install the 2 rear seat headrest supports.

  26. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side)

      Engage the 10 claws to install the rear seatback board sub-assembly LH.

    2. A01OCCQ

      Engage the 27 claws of the separate type rear seatback cover LH to the rear seatback board sub-assembly LH.

  27. INSTALL REAR UPPER SEATBACK LOCK BEZEL (for LH Side)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

  28. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK COVER LH (for LH Side)
