EXHAUST PIPE INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL NO. 5 EXHAUST PIPE SUPPORT

   1. Install the No. 5 exhaust pipe support with the nut.

      8 N*m

      82 kgf*cm

      71 in.*lbf

2. INSTALL FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

   1. Install the front exhaust pipe assembly to the No. 5 exhaust pipe support with the nut.

      8 N*m

      82 kgf*cm

      71 in.*lbf

   2. Install the front exhaust pipe assembly to the exhaust manifold with the nut, bolt and clip.

      22 N*m

      224 kgf*cm

      16 ft.*lbf

3. INSTALL TAIL EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

   1. Connect the tail exhaust pipe assembly to the 2 No. 4 exhaust pipe supports.

   2. Install the tail exhaust pipe assembly to the front exhaust pipe assembly with the nut, bolt and clip.

      22 N*m

      224 kgf*cm

      16 ft.*lbf

4. INSPECT FOR EXHAUST GAS LEAK

   If gas is leaking, tighten the areas necessary to stop the leak. Replace damaged parts as necessary.
