Note:

When replacing the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly), perform system variant learning and acceleration sensor zero point calibration (Click here).

PROCEDURE

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TS of DLC3 - BRAKE ACTUATORASSEMBLY)

    1. Disconnect the A78 (for CVT) or A79 (except CVT) skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance (for CVT)

      Tester Connection

      Condition

      Specified Condition

      H16-12 (TS) - A78-27 (TS)

      Always

      Below 1 Ω

H16-12 (TS) or A78-27 (TS) - Body ground

      Always

      10 kΩ or higher

      Standard Resistance (except CVT)

      Tester Connection

      Condition

      Specified Condition

      H16-12 (TS) - A79-3 (TS)

      Always

      Below 1 Ω

H16-12 (TS) or A79-3 (TS) - Body ground

      Always

      10 kΩ or higher

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CG of DLC3 - BODY GROUND)

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TS of DLC3 - BODY GROUND)
