PANORAMIC MOON ROOF SYSTEM Remote Control System does not Operate

DESCRIPTION

The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) receives remote control signals from the driver door key cylinder or wireless transmitter. Then, the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) activates the power window motor and sends the remote control signals to the sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly (sliding roof ECU) via LIN communication. The sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly (sliding roof ECU) receives the signals and activates the slide motor.

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Note

  • The sliding roof key-linked function and sliding roof glass wireless transmitter-linked function are operative when the power window customize settings "Door Key P/W Up", "Door Key P/W Down" and "P/W Down W/Transmit" are set to "ON" using the GTS. (The default setting of each is "OFF".)

  • If the sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly (sliding roof ECU) is removed and reinstalled or replaced, the sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly (sliding roof ECU) must be initialized.
