COUNTER GEAR REASSEMBLY


  1. INSTALL COUNTER GEAR FRONT BEARING

      Using SST and a press, install the counter gear front bearing onto the counter gear.

      Install it so that the snap ring groove of the bearing faces to the front side.

  2. INSTALL COUNTER GEAR FRONT BEARING SNAP RING NO.2

      Select the correct counter gear front bearing snap ring No.2 so that the clearance between the counter gear and counter gear front bearing snap ring No.2 is within the specified values. Using a brass bar and a hammer, install it onto the counter gear.

      0.1 mm (0.0039 in.) or less

      E 2.25 to 2.30 mm (0.0886 to 0.0906 in.)
      F 2.30 to 2.35 mm (0.0906 to 0.0925 in.)
