REAR STABILIZER BAR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL REAR STABILIZER BUSHING (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat)

      *a Stopper

      Install the 2 rear stabilizer bushings to the outside of the stoppers on the rear stabilizer bar.

      Note

      Be sure to install the rear stabilizer bushings so that each cutout faces the bottom of the vehicle.

  2. INSTALL REAR STABILIZER BUSHING (w/ Rear No. 2 Seat)

      *a Stopper

      Install the 2 rear stabilizer bushings to the inside of the stoppers on the rear stabilizer bar.

      Note

      Be sure to install the rear stabilizer bushings so that each cutout faces the bottom of the vehicle.

  3. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 STABILIZER BAR BRACKET (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat)

      *b Identification Mark

      Install the 2 rear No. 1 stabilizer bar brackets to the 2 rear stabilizer bushings.

      Note


      • Ensure that the identification mark faces the right side of the vehicle.

      • Ensure that the identification shape faces upward.

  4. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 STABILIZER BAR BRACKET (w/ Rear No. 2 Seat)

      Install the 2 rear No. 1 stabilizer bar brackets to the 2 rear stabilizer bushings.

      Note


      • Ensure that the identification mark faces the right side of the vehicle.

      • Ensure that the identification shape faces upward.

  5. INSTALL REAR STABILIZER BAR (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat)

      *a Identification Mark

      Install the rear stabilizer bar, 2 rear No. 1 stabilizer bar brackets and 2 rear stabilizer bushings to the rear suspension member sub-assembly with the 4 nuts.

      Torque:
      75 N*m  { 765 kgf*cm, 55 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Ensure that the identification mark faces the right side of the vehicle.

  6. INSTALL REAR STABILIZER BAR (w/ Rear No. 2 Seat)


    1. B005NT3C01
      *a Identification Mark

      Install the rear stabilizer bar, 2 rear No. 1 stabilizer bar brackets and 2 rear stabilizer bushings to the rear suspension member sub-assembly with the 4 nuts.

      Torque:
      75 N*m  { 765 kgf*cm, 55 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Ensure that the identification mark faces the right side of the vehicle.

  7. INSTALL REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH


    1. B005M3D

      Secure the rear lower stabilizer bracket in a vise using aluminum plates.

      Note

      Do not overtighten the vise.

    2. Install the rear stabilizer link assembly LH to the rear lower stabilizer bracket with the nut.

      Torque:
      92 N*m  { 938 kgf*cm, 68 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a 6 mm hexagon socket wrench to hold the stud bolt.

    3. B007WRRN04

      Install the rear stabilizer link assembly LH to the rear stabilizer bar with the nut (B).

      Torque:
      90 N*m  { 918 kgf*cm, 66 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a 6 mm hexagon socket wrench to hold the stud bolt.

    4. Install the rear stabilizer link assembly LH to the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly LH with the 2 nuts (A).

      Torque:
      82 N*m  { 836 kgf*cm, 60 ft.*lbf }

  8. INSTALL REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.
